Pokemon Adventures Tokai
Welcome new travel to this rich land of milk and honey. You are about to embark on a challenge of a life time when living in Tokai. Tokai is not a place for the weak of heart. Challenge, failure, and extreme uncertainty is what awaits any who dare challenge Mother Nature on her own turf. This is a place where many have come to call home, but the comforts of home are few and far between here.
You will find a few spots of humanity have made their home here, and there are a few tribes of peoples that live off the land nomads who have small villages they live in moving with the seasons. Scientists have a few research facilities that can be a place of refuge for exhausted travelers...but nothing is free at such places extracting high price to stay for a night to help supplement research efforts..
In Tokai many new comers will travel together in parties. This is wise and encouraged. The statistics don't lie. 70% of adventurer's who try and trek this region alone die within the first month of their journey. Though the good news is if an adventurer does survive the first month of their time here in Tokai their chances of survival increase to 60%.
The largest export in Tokai is hides, meat, wood, and precious medals. Copper Port is extremely busy exporting two or three barges a day with incoming good as well for those who live in this isolated region. Everything costs here because comforts must be shipped in from the lower regions of the world. If you can learn to use what nature provides you here in Tokai however, life can be very pleasant and even enjoyable. Many adventure's have a residence in Copper Port as a refuge from the wilderness beyond.
